AAC+ Korn

Get more value from your grain

AAC+ Korn is a feed for cattle.

It is made from grain, peas or field beans, Urea, ALpHA enzymes and water.

The treatment increases the crude protein content by at least 4 percentage points and raises the pH value to at least 8.3.

It also helps improve the digestibility of the grain's fibre.

AAC+ Korn enables farmers to make better use of their grain in cattle feed and reduce the need for purchased protein feed.

Benefits of AAC+ Korn

  • Increased protein content. Increases the crude protein content by at least 4 percentage points.

  • Better utilisation of grain fibre. Helps improve fibre digestibility.

  • High pH value. The treatment raises the pH value to at least 8.3 and helps stabilise rumen pH. This reduces the risk of rumen acidosis.

  • Reduced need for purchased protein. The increased protein content can reduce the need for purchased protein feed.

  • No drying required. The treatment eliminates the need for traditional grain drying.

  • Easy storage. AAC+ Korn can be stored under hygienic conditions in silos, both indoors and outdoors.

  • Minimal nutrient loss. Helps minimise nutrient losses during storage.

  • Non-GMO. AAC+ Korn is a GMO-free feed product.

How Does AAC+ Korn Work?

AAC+ Korn is produced by treating grain with urea/feed-grade urea 80/20, ALpHA enzymes and water.

The result is treated grain with an increased crude protein content and alkaline properties.

Do You Have Your Own Grain? We Offer an On-Farm Grain Treatment Solution with ALpHA + Urea

At Allaboutcows, we also offer ALpHA to farmers who wish to treat their own grain instead of purchasing a ready-treated product. ALpHA is used together with feed-grade urea and water.

The treatment can be used for various types of grain and selected legumes, including barley, wheat, rye, triticale, oats, maize, peas and beans. Grain with a moisture content of up to 20% can be treated. The treated grain can be used in feed mixtures for cattle of different ages, with the final feed ration adapted to the animals' nutritional needs.

This solution enables farmers to use grain from their own farm as the basis for treated feed.
