The EU has adopted rules to ensure that the production and sale of feed and food take place with the greatest possible consideration for the safety and health of humans and animals.
This means that there are requirements and rules for quality management and ongoing risk analysis of the individual processes.
HACCP – Risk Analysis
HACCP is an abbreviation for Hazard Analysis of Critical Control Points, which corresponds to risk analysis of critical control points in Danish.
The risk analysis describes all activities within the company and highlights the risks that may be associated with the activities in question.
The risk analysis must establish a connection between activities and risks, and how the risks are managed. For each identified risk in the risk analysis, a risk assessment is carried out to determine whether the risk should be eliminated or reduced to an acceptable level and whether control measures are necessary.
